Em Abril de 2024, durante as negociações da @unep para o desenvolvimento de um tratado mundial para acabar com a poluição do plástico, tive o imenso prazer de conhecer a Isabela Ribeiro.

Isabela é doutoranda em Ciência Ambiental pela Universidade de São Paulo @usp.oficial e pesquisadora no @noss.each NOSS (Núcleo de Pesquisa em Organizações Sociedade e Sustentabilidade), e estuda e desenvolve pesquisas sobre o plástico e seus impactos socioamebientais desde 2020.

On this #worldenvironmentday , I think back to the connections I’ve made in the past year, both to people and nature.

I think back to the intertwined relationship of the universe that exists within my body and the external natural world.

I think back to the words of wisdom I’ve heard from back then, mere strangers.

I think back to the beautiful gestures towards me, the warm welcome I’ve been given by what today I can call my team.

Thank you @dontboxme @pramilach , so many more and to those yet to come. You show me day in and day out that the environment is an essential part of our existence and that it will always be worth fighting for, within our own capabilities but also beyond what we believe is possible.
