About Mind the Eco

Mind the Eco is on the mission to educate and inspire individuals to think critically and holistically about sustainability. In order to do so, it embraces the complexity of social, environmental and economic challenges, fosters in-depth research as well as critical thinking and focuses on strengthening community action through education. 

 

A little bit about how it started...

The truth is I started Mind the Eco to really push myself into learning more about the complex and diverse issues pertaining to sustainability and to deconstruct any black or white type of perspective I might have. Soon enough,

I set the mission to educate not only myself but others by compiling extensive research into easy to read Instagram posts. It was working pretty well... until it wasn't. The thing about Instagram is that you have to shrink a bunch of cool data into very superficial information. Although it's a good start, it didn't feel enough for me. So, here I am, with a website, hoping that at least one individual will be positevely impacted by it. It might not be as short as an Instagram post, but I really do try to make exploring sustainability into a fun process.
